The first photo posted by Pope Francis in his coffin; funeral is scheduled for Saturday

The first photo since the death of Pope Francis’ body was released Tuesday, and his funeral is scheduled to be held on Saturday morning.
These images show Francis lying in a wooden coffin, wearing a red outfit and a diagonal cut by the bishop as he saw the Vatican Secretary of State praying for him in the church at the Domus Santa Marta Hotel where he lives.
The Cardinal met for the first time in the Vatican Chamber on Tuesday to establish the next step before the meeting began to choose the next pope. The Cardinal held a funeral at St. Peter’s Square at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The dean of Cardinal College, Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, will celebrate this, and the ordinary loyal loyalist may begin to begin final respect in the coffin Wednesday, when his coffin was brought into St. Peter’s Basilica.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he and First Lady Melania Trump planned to attend the funeral. Argentina President Javier Milei is also expected to attend the funeral of the Argentina-born pope.
Francis suffered a coma and a stroke that caused heart failure put him in trouble at the age of 88 and 88. His death marked the end of his 12-year pope as the 266th Pope and Spiritual Leader Roman Catholic Church.
The pope suffered from chronic lung disease and removed part of one lung at a young age. He spent 38 days at Gemelli Hospital in Rome starting on February 14 to treat the respiratory crisis that developed into bipneumonia.

He is still recovering when he made his last public appearance on Sunday, offering Easter blessings, and his last greetings to popemobile’s followers. The Pope also meets with the U.S. Vice President JD Vance Easter Sunday in Casa Santa Marta.
Francis’ Easter appearance was conducted in the same Loggia, who was introduced to the world’s first Pope on March 13, 2013.
The head of the Italian Bishops’ Council may become a contender for the next pope. “Go out to meet everyone, talk to everyone, teach us to talk to everyone, and bless everyone.”

Francis confirmed in his final will that he would be buried in St. Mary Major Basilica, which is located outside the Vatican and is his favorite idol of the Virgin Mary.
Francis stopped at the cathedral on March 23 at the longest hospital stay in the Pope, and placed flowers in front of the icon. He returned on April 12, praying for the last time before Madonna.
