Army commander paused in investigation into portraits of missing Trump, Vance, Heggs
The commander of McCoffe was removed from duty in photos of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at the U.S. Army Base failed to install.

Ramirez served as garrison commander in July last year.
Previously, she served as head of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and other roles throughout the Army and Army Reserves.
The move comes after a series of radical changes to the leadership level throughout the U.S. military. Earlier this month, the Pentagon fired the base commander for the Pituffik Space Force Base in Greenland after “destroying” Vance.

After the Vice President’s visit, Colonel Susannah Meyers emailed the Essential Personnel on March 31, writing: “I don’t think I understand the current politics, but what I know is the concern discussed by the U.S. government. Vice President Vance Friday was not reflected in Pituffik Space Base. ”
She added that she “spents the whole weekend thinking about Friday’s visit – the actions taken, what they said and how it must affect each of you”.
Meyers “had been lifted because of loss of confidence in leadership.” Space Force said in a public statement.
“The commander is expected to adhere to the highest standards of conduct, especially in the nonpartisan situations in the performance of his duties,” the statement said.

Hegseth fired four former assistants after the fight and conducted a leak investigation later last week.
The secretary accused the “disgruntled staff” of leaking reports of a second signal chat about the Houthi strike, which included his wife, brother and private lawyer.
