Russia, Ukraine accuses each other of breaking the Easter ceasefire on day

Ukraine and Russia Accuse each other on Sunday One-day Easter ceasefire President Vladimir Putin announced that both sides accused the other of an attack overnight.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that Ukrainian troops launched overnight attacks in the Donetsk region and had sent 48 drones to Russian territory.

According to the ministry, “there are deaths and injuries in the civilian population” and no details were provided. It claimed that the Russian army strictly observed the ceasefire.

Russian installed part of the occupied Ukrainian region officials in the Hesen region also said Ukrainian troops continued to attack.

According to the Kremlin, the ceasefire will last from Moscow at 6 p.m., which will take Saturday to midnight after Easter Sunday. Putin did not provide details on how to monitor the ceasefire or whether it covers an angry air strike or ongoing ground war.

Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia also clearly did not observe an Easter ceasefire when President Trump said Friday that negotiations between Ukraine and Russia were “overhead” and insisted that both sides were working to end the three-year war.

Trump said on Sunday that he hopes Russia and Ukraine will reach a deal this week.
