Trump’s video allegedly “rejected” actress Cheryl Hines scattered like wildfires, but did not show the full picture
President Donald Trump faces Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during a UFC match Saturday night.
“It’s Clickbait. He’s back to her,” posted on X, former RFK Jr. consultant Link Lauren, showing photos of Trump chatting with HHS secretary and Cheryl Hines during the UFC game.
Trump played in Miami’s UFC match with his cabinet members Saturday night and was held by Kennedy’s hand after a wild cheer entering the arena, but despite her handshake, she seemed to ignore greetings to greet Hines. As Trump moved to greet the other attendees, he saw Hines pull her hand away.

The exchange’s video has received hundreds of thousands of views, and has also caused headlines in the United States and abroad, speculating that the president “rejected” Hines.
“Cheryl Hines was blown away by President Trump’s handshake, just missing the curb theme music,” said a user posted to X.
Another post on X reads: “Current Theme Music – Trump has no love for Cheryl Hines.”

Hines’s publicity agent Ann Gurrola told Fox Digital on Sunday that she was not at the event but could not comment, but Trump hovered up and held Hines’s hand, and Trump’s footage was clearly “simple oversight.” A government official commented on Fox numbers on Sunday, saying the president did not reject Hines.

Fox Digital got another photo ahead of Saturday’s UFC fight, showing Trump talking to Hines and others.

X user also shared videotapes and screenshots showing Trump chatting with both Kennedy and Hines, indicating he hovered and talked to the couple.

“President Trump spoke with Cheryl Hines at UFC 314 last night. Some reports said that Trump may have rejected Hines at the event, but the video below shows that it is not the case,” one X user posted, accompanied by Trump’s videotape.
“No, President Trump doesn’t have ‘Snub’RFK JR’s wife Cheryl Hines. He didn’t see her hand, and after he greeted Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier, he went back as shown below,” another X user posted.

The reports were published after Hines’ previous criticism of Trump and his remarks as “absurd and disrespectful”, but have joined Margrago and the White House’s Trump-related minority incidents since her husband endorsed Trump in the summer and eventually became the head of the HHS this year.
