Nestled on Mexico’s stunning Pacific coastline, Hilton Vallarta Riviera is an all-inclusive resort that strikes the perfect balance between parents’ relaxation and independence of independent teenagers. From the moment I signed in, it was obvious that I discovered a rare gem where parents could relax, relax and explore while teenagers find their own vacation paradise, which is a safe range of a luxury resort that understands the families that are really needed with older kids.

Without further ado, let’s dive into what this rare gem offers the family.

What does it include inclusive?

Hilton Vallarta Riviera is an all-inclusive resort, meaning you don’t have to worry about paying an extra dime once you book a room. The resort has eight restaurants to dine (no extra charge!) and 24-hour room service. So whether you want to dress up and spend a whole day on the beach, or relax in the room and order room service, you don’t have to pay for either. Even alcoholic beverages!

Your nighttime price also includes a large number of activities such as cooking classes, sunset pool parties, karaoke, outdoor activities such as kayaking and volleyball, and even cultural and art activities that will immerse you in local history, food, art and more.

The only extra feature you need to pay for is the spa treatment. Hilton Vallarta Riviera’s Eforea Spa offers world-class spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, saunas and steam rooms, as well as manicures and pedicures. However, we will dig deeper later.

The resort has 444 rooms, each with seaside views and a private balcony, which can enjoy such views:

Activities for teenagers

OK, let’s get into your purpose here: Why is this place so good for teenagers? In addition to family activities such as cooking classes, arts and cultural activities, outdoor activities and two beachfront pools, Hilton Vallarta Riviera offers several spaces dedicated to teenagers, giving them some independence and opportunities to meet other teenagers at the resort.

Elrincón Lounge is specially created for older children. The lounge features a candy bar with unlimited candy (even some local Mexican candy!), an ice cream station, popcorn for movies, lots of casual and chill spaces, board games, and the entire video game area where teens and Tweens can play online games they like with other kids.

The lounge also provides nighttime entertainment for teenagers and families. Activities may include live performances, silent disco halls, game competitions, DJs, sports competitions, and more.

There are plenty of activities and activities every day in Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta. When I visited, I took paella classes, Agasilban, a healing sound bath, karaoke, and of course plenty of time in the beachfront pool. The resort also has two food trucks next to the pool (including your night price!), which seems to be popular among teenagers. These activities are great for teenagers to do themselves while their parents relax or act as a bond with their family. The resort offers a lot of activities, so it’s hard to choose from an extensive list!

Children’s activities

If you are traveling with kids, don’t worry, because they have a lot to do, too. Hilton Vallarta Riviera offers a super luxurious kids club where parents can enjoy with their kids, or the kids can relax and explore with their kids’ club staff.

On the way, I was able to meet some incredible staff who worked in a kids club and I couldn’t believe how many activities and activities they planned for their young kids. While I was there, I saw kids enjoy pizza making classes at La Luce restaurant, making crafts, teaching them about local culture and history, and interacting with other kids. The staff at the Kids Club are very warm, welcoming and suitable for all kids. The best part is that all these incredible services and activities are at no extra cost.

Parents’ activities

OK, so your teen is busy with the Fortnite Championships in the family lounge, your young kids make Ojo de dios crafts at the kids club and you will have a whole day to relax, so what should you do?

For beginners, how do you check out one of Hilton’s two beachfront pools? The largest even features a swimming bar with unlimited margarita. They can also rent private cabins. Cabin rentals are an extra fee, but you can choose to relax on any beachfront or poolside chairs for free.

My favorite parent resort is Eforea Spa. I started my spa day through the sauna, steam room, spa and completed my best massage experience ever (and I have a lot of it). I chose the relaxing Swedish massage, but they also offer deep tissue massage, Hawaiian-style Soffio d’Polinesia, and even offer a luxurious fusion massage combining Lomi Lomi and Swedish technology, acupoint type and hot stone to avoid body shape.

If you want to leave your resort and experience some of Mexico’s gorgeous natural beauty, Puerto Vallarta has endless options. The resort will also help you plan any off-site activities or excursions to ensure you make the most of your stay. Once you reach the city center, it is within walking distance and is filled with excellent dining options, history, shopping and fun activities like watching whales or zippers.

how much does it cost?

I’ve visited similar all-inclusive resorts, but the price can easily soar to over $1,000 per night, and for most families, this high price is not feasible. Fortunately, the King’s bedroom costs about $380 per night. Prices do vary, just like all resorts are priced, but even on the most popular travel dates, Hilton’s all-inclusive prices are much lower than other luxury resorts.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera offers a variety of rooms, even adjacent rooms, to accommodate families of all sizes. Of course, the best part is that each room has magnificent sea views and a private balcony.

The resort also allows you to upgrade your accommodation by selecting the enclave option. Enclave offers an upgraded experience including private check-in and checkout, access to a private enclave lounge with food and drinks, indoor welcome amenities, an upgraded mini bar, nighttime discounts, concierge service and more. Dining experience

We’ve mentioned it briefly before, but Hilton Puerto Vallarta has up to eight on-site restaurants. Although there is no extra fee for these restaurants, you do need to book in advance. I recommend choosing your favorite dinner restaurant in the morning and then booking the same morning to ensure you get a table in the best option.

Hilton restaurant options include:

  • La Luce – an Italian restaurant with deep authenticity in historic American-Italian expression and contemporary seasonal sensitivity.

  • Maxal – A Mexican restaurant that shows the rich and diverse Mexican cuisine.

  • Sangnan – an Asian restaurant with eclectic flavors from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and beyond.

  • Cocomar – an approachable tavern with classic Mexican cuisine.

  • Belsilt – Daytime, Belsilt American classics in a twisted, grilled parilla style. By the evening they offer more mature moods of local beer, tropical cocktails and ocean breezes

  • Vela Food Hall – This is a great choice for kids and teens as it is a large buffet with a choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Azulinda – A great bar with classic and fusion cocktails and plenty of beer.

  • Sunan Sushi – A dining experience inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine.

Sometimes, as a food editor, I may be a little criticized about the dining experience, but I absolutely have no negative words about the food of Hilton Vallarta Riviera. La Luce and Maxal are my favorite restaurants, but to my surprise, even the menu in the room is. All the food is fresh and vibrant and I expect the quality of the high-end restaurant.

Is it worth it?

Absolutely. I’ve visited many all-inclusive resorts, but never had so many planned activities for all family members. The event calendar is wider than I thought, with activities for adults, teens, teens, kids and even babies all day long. For the price, considering that you really don’t need any money once you get there (unless you want to venture out to a resort or book extras), I can’t think of a more perfect family-friendly travel destination.

If you know the battle with increasingly independent teenagers and teenagers planning family vacations, then Hilton Vallarta Riviera might just be the peace treaty you’ve been looking for.
