Tips for today’s chain puzzle
Today’s stock theme is: Get error.
If that doesn’t help, here’s a clue: a creepy crawl.
Clue words to unlock tips in the game
Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the puzzle topic. If you are stuck, find any words. Whenever you find three words with four letters or more letters, the chain reveals one of the topic words. These are the words I used to get these tips, but any word you find with four or more letters will work:
- Land, Rank, Hank, Slide, Kindness, Tingdang, Loot, Robbery, Point, Sop, Sop, Sant, Sant, Sant, Slog, Slog, Slog, Stags, Lost, Lost, Moore, Slot, Slot.
Answers to today’s chain puzzle
These are the answers that are linked to the topic. The purpose of the puzzle is to find all of this, including spangram, a topic word, from one side of the puzzle to the other. When you have all of this (I initially thought there were always eight, but learned that this number might be different), every letter on the board will be used. This is the non-cross-angle answer:
- Lady, stinky, graffiti, potato, assassin, lightning
Today’s Chain Ball
The complete NYT chain puzzle is April 3, 2025, No. 396.
Today’s stock chain is entomology. To find it, start with the e on the left, the four letters on the left and the four letters on the left and bypass.
The most difficult stranded puzzle
Here are some of the toughest chain themes I’ve found in recent weeks.
#1: January 21, date. Maybe you don’t even use this term when it’s cool. The most difficult word: bai.
#2: Thar She blew! January 15. I guess marine biologists might do this. The hardest word: baleen or correct.
#3: January 9, similar to January 15’s puzzle, because it helps to understand marine life. Sorry, Charlie. The hardest word: BigEye or Skipjack
