It works better on some works than others. I love a lot of acoustic music, but Sharon van Etten’s latest version of “Seventeen” with Norah Jones is a little too forward in the drums and bass, leaving some vocal details on the high end pairs above it.

Adjusting the associated audio technology to connect the EQ within the app to a clear vocal setting (you can also choose between bass boost, V-shaped, and treble boost, etc.) solves this problem well. The app also has controls for noise reduction and listening modes, and if you don’t like presets, you can customize a separate five-band eq to your liking.

The app is also where you will get software and firmware updates for your headsets, which can be easily installed in minutes as long as the headsets are paired via Bluetooth.

The dual microphones on the earbuds mean your calls sound good, and the quality of cancellation of noise is actually quite stable, especially for buds in this price range. Thanks to the excellent seal of the earbuds, it is nearly impossible to hear a click from my very bright mechanical keyboard. The sound of HVAC also disappeared. You can get better reductions from the best Apple, Bose and Sony, but these competitors have the vast majority of competitors in this regard for $250.

The weirdest part of these buds is the “soundscape” feature in the app, where audio technology includes “natural relaxed sounds, masking noises to help you focus or meditate sounds”. I’m not sure why I need to control wireless earbuds in the app, but for sure.

As far as a pair of earbuds sounding good, the job is great and can put all life into practice (including occasional misplaced charging cases), there is little dislike for these cases. They work well, fit perfectly, and have the longest battery life seen from a pair of wireless buds. For $150, it’s a reliable deal.
