Nintendo finally puts GameCube game on Switch 2 on Nintendo Switch

Big news from Nintendo Everyone is waiting on Wednesday and finally here: You can play games on Switch 2 for 20 years.
Additionally, today it was announced that there is a dedicated Nintendo GameCube controller that includes GameChat’s “C” button.
But for Real, one of the cool little nuggets Nintendo shared on its Big Nintendo Switch 2 Direct Rivestream on Wednesday morning in its big Nintendo Switch 2 is the Nintendo Gamecube game coming to the Nintendo Switch online service. For those who don’t know, those who subscribe to NSO (required to play online multiplayer games in most switch games) can access Netflix-style directories from various platforms. So far, the platform listing begins with NES and ends with N64.

Some GameCube games you can play on NSO first The Legend of Zelda: The Wind,,,,, Soulcalibur IIand F-Zero GX. Nintendo will certainly add more games to that directory over time, but it is impossible to say what they will be or at what speed. Here are a few interesting wrinkles to consider. One is that Nintendo has done a lot of remakes for some of the best GameCube games, e.g. Metroidso there is reason to think that the company might choose to sell you these games again instead of putting them on NSO, but we have to take a look.
Nintendo just added Sat Nav to “The Legend of Zelda”
Another is that these games can only be played on Switch 2.
The most exciting part of the new console launch is the new games, but it’s also cool to see some of the Nintendo games of the past make their time the focus of people.
