WHO’s Roger Daltrey shares health updates during London concert

And who is Roger Daltrey The 81-year-old rock legend is still dealing with some physical changes that he can’t control.

Last week, Daltrey gave the crowd an unexpected health update while attending the Teenage Cancer Trust charity event in London with his bandmate Pete Townshend.

“The joy of getting older means you’re deaf. I’m also having the pleasure of blindness right now,” he revealed in the middle in the Sky News.

“Luckily, I still have my voice because then I would have a complete Tommy,” he said. “Deaf, stupid and blind.”

During the scene, Townshend, 79, also revealed that he was recovering from a knee replacement.

“I changed my left knee four and a half weeks ago,” said Tong Shin, who was injured while dancing.

Daltrey is not the only musician to have recently been heard.

In May 2023, legendary artist Paul Simon revealed that most of the hearing in the left ear was gone.

In February, Simon announced that he would be in almost Ten years of interruption. He plans to embark on a series of intimate concert performances – spring and summer events he calls “the quiet celebration.”

“The evolution of this extraordinary artist continues to show, and Simon chose to perform in private venues where acoustics are the best given the severe hearing loss he has caused over the past few years,” a press release said.

His tour came after he had previously noticed that his hearing was deteriorating when he created his last album, The Seven Psalms.

Simon previously told Times in 2023 that “Suddenly, I lost most of the hearing in my left ear. So it’s all harder.”

“My reaction to it was frustration and annoyance; not total anger yet because I think it will pass, it will repair itself.”
