Trump administrator holds family planning funds for plan violations of executive orders: Report

President Donald Trump reportedly told several family planning affiliates on Monday that this would withhold funds due to possible violations of civil rights laws.

Politico reports that family planning clinics are retaining tens of millions of dollars that provide services for low-income Americans, such as contraception, STI testing and other health services.

On Monday, nine family planning state branches received federal funds through the Planned Parenthood Plan Title X and received notifications that their funds were being “temporarily withheld.”

The publication said the letter provided by Planned Parenthood noted that Trump’s execution of the order “possible violations” such as the ban on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and federal civil rights laws.

Another Trump policy says plans that alleged violations of the family planning program are related to “open border subsidies for taxpayers.”

The publication notes that the family planning chapters received the letters are mainly in Republican-controlled countries. The government also pointed to violations of the clinic’s mandate statement and other documents highlighting “commitment to the black community” that demonstrated evidence of the violation.

According to reports, Amy Margolis, deputy director of the Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), believes that the material “paints pictures of family planning,” suggesting it is a wide range of habits engaged in hiring, operations and patient treatment in its branches, competing in a negative way. ”

The letter also accuses Family Planning of encouraging illegal foreigners to receive care.

Family Planning has 10 days to respond to the letter and provides evidence of plans to comply with the president’s orders. Once provided, the government will determine whether to suspend or terminate the grant.

Family Planning and HHS did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on the matter.

In a social media post, Family Planning wrote: “When we say, anyway, we mean. We mean.

“Trump administrators seized Title X funds further deprived of health care from people in this country,” the Post wrote. “We know what happens when Title X funds are cancelled: cancer is not detected, the chances of birth control are greatly reduced, and the STI crisis worsens. People suffer.”

HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon reportedly told POLITICO that payments from Title X providers have been withheld, including nine family planning branches.

Nixon explained that the reasoning behind the withholding is “to ensure that these entities are fully compliant with federal law and applicable grant terms and ensure responsible taxpayer funding management.”
