Drone attack Ukraine shows new Russian attack

Ukrainian officials said a drone attack in Russia hit a military hospital and shopping mall in Ukraine, and two people were killed and 35 others were injured at the end of Saturday night.

In a statement Sunday, Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov condemned the attack on Kharkif, saying a 67-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were killed. Despite President Donald Trump’s administration’s efforts to speed up peace talks, Russia’s aggression in Ukraine shows no signs of a halt.

Ukraine said many of the casualties were soldiers who were treated in military hospitals.

The Ukrainian air force said the attack consisted of 111 Russian drones, of which 65 were shot down, and another 35 were electronically disabled or failed themselves.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy predicted later last week that Russian forces will intensify their negotiating status in peace talks.

“They are delaying negotiations and trying to get countless and meaningless discussions in the United States into discussions about fake ‘conditions’ just to buy time and then try to grab more land,” Zelenskyy said in a visit to Paris on Thursday.

Four people died Saturday night and 24 injured Friday night after Russian drones attacked Dnipro in the eastern part of the country, according to emergency services from regional governor Serhii Lysak and Ukraine. Lysak reported that at least eight people were injured when Russian ballistic missiles near Kryvyi Rih, Zelenskyy’s hometown, attacked.

Russian President Vladimir Putin himself praised the troops’ “strategic initiatives.”

“Our troops, our guys, are moving forward every day and liberating territory one by one, settled after another,” he said in a public forum.

Zelenskyy met with French President Emmanuel Macron at a summit in about 30 countries on Thursday to learn how to strengthen Keeff’s hands and his military power as it pushes a ceasefire with Russia. Proposals for deploying European forces with any peace agreement agreement are also being discussed.

Fox News’ Michael Dorgan and the Associated Press contributed to the report.
