Israeli troops expand Rafah’s ground attack

Israeli forces have reportedly expanded ground operations against Hamas to another community in the Southern Gaza Strip city of Rafa.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) wrote on X on Saturday night that the troops are destroying the “Hamas terror infrastructure” with the aim of building a wider security zone.

About two weeks ago, the army launched an offensive in another part of the city.

According to the Post, Israel continues to carry out air strikes on Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) targets throughout Gaza:

“Does of terrorists were eliminated during the attack,” it said.

This information cannot be verified independently at first.

According to Gaza’s Hamas Health Control Authority, about 25 people have been killed in the past 24 hours.

The report did not distinguish between fighters and civilians, nor could it be confirmed independently.

Israeli military operations resumed in Gaza on March 18 as both sides failed to agree to extend the six-week ceasefire that began in January.
