Uber adds new shuttle between Kennedy Airport and Manhattan
Uber offers new shuttle routes for New York City passengers. After less than six months of driving between Laguardia Airport and Laguardia Airport, the company added four routes between John Kennedy International Airport and Manhattan.
Starting Thursday, you can book up to four seats in preparation for one of the new routes. You can keep them as early as 7 days ago or two minutes before jumping out. Each bus has a 14 passenger limit when it is released. Just like your flight, you can carry a piece of luggage that weighs 50 pounds, as well as personal items that fit your knees or under your seat. When you put your license plate, the driver will use the QR code and PIN to verify your identity.
The four new routes include the port authority quay and the stops at the Grand Central Terminal or Chinatown and Atlantic Terminals. Each of these two Manhattan courses is divided into two other routes – one to Kennedy Terminal 4 and the other is Terminal 5. They run every 30 minutes every week from 5:00 to 10:45 PM.
Kennedy Space Shuttle typically costs “up to $25” in one way, but Uber is launching new rides until April 30 with introductory one-way pricing.
Uber said it has booked hundreds of thousands of shuttle buses since launching its Laguardia route last fall. While this may be a convenient way (cheaper than taking a taxi), there is a free public transport shuttle between the airport and the subway. As Redditor U/Kufat said on an October shuttle about Uber, “This is for tourists who think they will be stabbed when they enter the subway.”
