“Pop the Balloon” dating show will be held in April Netflix

I don’t know how your tiktok FYP looks, but the editing of the dating series pops up the balloon or finds love spinning mine frequently. Now, host Arlette Amuli and husband Bolia Matundu’s viral hit show is being treated for Netflix.
Created by the couple, Balloon found an audience on YouTube and Tiktok, and even entered Saturday Night Live as a parody sketch. Netflix’s version is titled “Pop the Balloon Live” and will start live on April 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
The format of the series, hosted by Yvonne Orji, will be similar to the original, allowing single contestants to align with their red balloons while trying to create a romantic connection with the main guests. Pop up the balloon to signal rejection, or stay intact to send real interest.
What makes what different? The Netflix series will bring “higher bets, fresh twists and celebrity surprises”. Some of the people that the audience will see include Johnny Banana, Chase Demur and Farah Abraham. Although Amuli won’t host this iteration, she and Matundu are behind the executive producers.
“We’re so excited to see the Balloon play a new life on Netflix,” said Amuli and Matundu. “We’ve been keeping love and fun at the heart of the show since day one, watching it grow and beyond our wildest dreams, which is really exciting. As executive producers, we’re proud to support the next chapter and can’t wait to get new and long-term fans to experience it.
“Yvonne is attractive, witty and real – we look forward to her as the host of the reimagined version on Netflix!”
