Social media platform Bluesky has started selling the shirt version worn by Jay Graber, CEO of Austin SXSW this week. Graber took the keynote on Monday on an oversized black T-shirt with the word “Mundus Sine Caesaribus”, which is Latin for “the world without Caesar.” As Mashable’s Opportunity Townsend reported, he was clearly excavated by Führer CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who notoriously wore a similar shirt, citing the Roman ruler at the company’s developer conference last year.

Graber’s shirt is a close copy of Zuckerberg for Meta Connect 2024 – same design, same font, but very different messages. The original shirt of Facebook founder reads “Aut Zuck aut Nihil” (“Zuck or Nothing”), which is a spin on the Latin word “Aut Caesar aut Nihil” (“Caesar or Nothing”).
Mashable has contacted Meta for comment.
Townsend reported that Graber doubled her anti-technical execution messaging in her SXSW keynote address, highlighting the value of open-source, decentralized platforms like Bluesky.
“If a billionaire tries to ruin things, [Bluesky] Users can leave – without losing their identity or data. ” Graber said.
Bluesky launched as an invitation-only platform in 2023 and quickly replaced Elon Musk’s X. As of March 2025, it has more than 32 million users.
