Rep. Jasmine Crockett claims the “hot wheel” comments are misunderstood, her past comments say

Faced with possible condemnation from the House, left-wing Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) claimed that her recent comments seemed to mock a disability Republican leader because the “governor’s hot wheel” was misunderstood.

However, her previous comments to the governor show.

Crockett appeared to mock Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a paraplegic and wheelchair-based Republican, who called him the “Governor’s Hot Wheel.”

Crockett said: “You all know we’re there to make the Governor hot wheel – come now! The only thing he’s hot is that he’s a hot a— mess, dear.”

This claim surfaced as Crockett already faced other recent criticisms that demanded that Elon Musk be “knocked down” and for R-Texas Senator Ted Cruz be “bumped into the head, like a tough knockdown.”

However, Crockett claims her statement was misunderstood and she did not laugh at Abbott’s disability.

Kimberly McClain, chief of staff of Crockett, responded to Fox News’ request for comment, saying: “Rest assured that Ms. Congress does not mean any harm to the governor or intends to do any medical conditions he may have.”

McClain pointed to a statement by Crockett on X, saying: “I’m not thinking about the governor’s situation – I’m thinking about the planes, trains and cars he used to transfer immigrants to communities led by a black mayor, intentionally stok tension and fear, and I’m talking about it, he’s talking about a tough thing. His situation.”

Despite her statement, Crockett seemed to comment on Abbott’s “rolling” place, seemingly mocking Abbott’s condition.

Just last week, Congresswomen republished an article that included Abbott of the White House, which read: “It’s crazy to roll to the White House and cheer for the president’s agency to destroy the president to ensure that children in wheelchairs have equal education.”

Crockett once again slammed Abbott in his reelection against former Democratic Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, saying: “I earned Beto O’Rourke a new nickname.

In response, Abbott said in an interview, “This is another day, a disaster for the Democrats.”

“The reality is that they have no vision, no policy. They have no choice but to hate, and Americans are not buying it,” Abbott said. “That’s one of the reasons why Texas will remain red and why Republicans will continue to win elections across the country. Sean’s fact is that Texas is actually in stark contrast to what she’s talking about… On top of that, Republican countries like Texas are leading the way, and Democratic comments are with the Democratic comments, we’re going to leave dust in future elections.”

R-TX Rep. Randy Weber told Fox News Digital that he would soon bring a resolution to denounce Crockett due to her statement.

Weber said on X: “Jasmine… words have meaning and actions have consequences. I look forward to introducing my resolution to condemn your words and actions.”

Weber told Fox News Digital: “The story of our great Texas governor is one of firm resilience and perseverance. Meanwhile, Jasmine Crockett’s actions – leaning towards evil discrimination and mean levels of political attack – are not only reprehensible.”
