Suspect accused of stabbing a Texas man 55 times, printed with bloody shoes

A 23-year-old Texas man has been charged with death sentence murder after authorities say he stabbed a Dallas man while helping him leave his apartment.
According to the press release, Ethan Esaiah Rodriguez of Dallas was charged with death sentence murder, evading a car and possessing marijuana.
He held it in a $1.25 million deposit, according to Dallas County Jail records.
Rodriguez helped Mason Raymond Davis, 28, move out of his Dallas apartment on Saturday, after the alleged murders occurred. The affidavit was obtained by Affiliate Fox 4.

Surveillance video shows the couple moving items between the apartment and Davis’s vehicle and then capturing Rodriguez,,,,, According to court documents.
Dallas police conducted a welfare check on the apartment Sunday because Davis missed work and could not reach it, the affidavit said. Once inside the vacant apartment, they found him stabbed 55 times.

Davis’s car was reportedly stolen on Sunday, found on Monday, and then stayed away from police during a traffic stop.
Driver Rodriguez hit “multiple” cars, then sabotaged Davis’s vehicle and fled the police.

According to Fox 4, police used a stun gun during their subsequent arrest and Rodriguez was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He later gave an interview at the Dallas Police Headquarters.

Rodriguez was arrested wearing shoes that were “very similar” to the bloody shoe print found at the crime scene, according to the arrest warrant.
The Dallas Police Department declined a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
