Tim Walz said he was joking when he cheered Tesla’s stock down: “These guys don’t have a sense of humor”

First, he is a “knuckle” and now he is “Smarta-“.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said Saturday that he mocked Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk in comments last week as the company recently declined in the stock market.

Walz tried to clarify his comments during a city hall in Rochester, Minnesota.

Walz refers to Musk saying, “This guy bothered me in ways that might be unhealthy.” “I have to be careful to be a smart person – I’m kidding. These people have no sense of humor. They are the most literal people.”

He continued: “But I mean, they were all angry and I said something I probably shouldn’t have with the company.”

Earlier this week, the governor mocked Tesla’s falling stocks and was holding an event in Wisconsin.

“Some of you know this. On the iPhone, they have a tiny stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little push during the day – $225, drop.” “And if you have one, we won’t blame you. You can pick up the floss and pull the Tesla stuff down.”

As of March, Tesla’s stock has fallen by only 41.4% year-on-year.

There have been a series of vacancies against Tesla vehicles recently in protest of Musk’s role in President Donald Trump’s administration.

Walz further criticized Musk’s role in the government’s Department of Efficiency (or roads), where billionaire technology executives are trying to cut federal labor as a cost-cutting initiative to the federal government.

“They’re all Tesla’s business, but they don’t care about the disrespect that Minneapolis Virginia employees who are caring for our veterans, they don’t care about them,” the governor said.

“Maybe it’s just me. If I were the richest person in the world, I was like giving money on the street.” “Just to help people, it would be fun. Go and help people. Not this guy.”
