Apple’s rumored plastic Apple Watch SE has reportedly encountered serious obstacles

For some time, we’ve heard that Apple is making versions of the Apple Watch SE with plastic shells to provide cheaper, more kid-friendly options, but it seems that the vision that brings the vision to life is much more complex than expected. After Apple’s September event arrived last year, no new Apple Watch SE announced, Mark Gurman reported that the team had encountered some “cost and quality” challenges in plastic design, but it was still happening. “The design team doesn’t like the look, and the operations team finds it hard to make casing cheaper than the current aluminum chassis,” Gurman said.
