Trump advises Harris on potential CA state long-distance running

President Donald Trump has made some suggestions for former Vice President Kamala Harris if she decides to run for California governor.
“There is one thing she has to do, she has to start getting interviews,” Trump said in an interview with Clay Travis of Outkick. “You can’t escape them both, and he didn’t get interviewed during Covid, and he escaped because of Covid.”
Harris is “seriously considering” the California governor’s campaign, one of whom approaches the former vice president’s decision-making process, told the media that Harris may make a decision by the end of the summer, according to a report from CBS News.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, considered a presidential contender in 2028, was restricted in his re-election in 2026, a large field expected to be a potential Democratic candidate in search of top positions in the state that seeks reliable progress.

A former Harris adviser told CBS News that the former vice president would be perfect for the job, noting her experience at the national and state levels.
“Newsom was able to do this job, and as the governor of the fifth largest economy, there were many benefits to her name ID when our party was looking for national leaders and California was looking for good governance – especially when California was going through a lot of things.”
But Harris also faces questions about how she handles the president’s bid, including allegations that she has been evading interviews.

After Biden quit the game and immediately endorsed Harris, the vice president participated for 39 days without sitting down for an interview before appearing on August 29 with her campaign partner, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
When Harris was accused of evading interviews, she made a move in national and local media, but then faced charges of evading thorny issues.

Perhaps the most abominable thing is the potential interview with influential Podcaster Joe Rogan, who hinted that Harris Team put forward the terms on the question that the host might be hiring candidates.
Trump did appear on Rogan’s podcast, an interview that eventually led to Podcaster’s recognition of Trump’s bid for the White House.
