Northern California sheriff officials announced a convicted killer served in jail in four murders in Los Angeles County, strangled his wife to death during a couple’s visit.
Stephanie Brinson, 62, was strangled to death by her husband, David Brinson, 54 in November, the Amador County Sheriff’s Office announced this week.
According to the Times, in 1994, Brinson was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences, without parole, and the possibility of killing four men in a Los Angeles apartment robbery.
He is currently incarcerated at a California health care facility in Stockton.
According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, at around 2 a.m. on November 13, Brinson contacted officials and told them that his wife had passed out. Officers try to save lives, but Stephanie Brinson is pronounced dead at 2:51 a.m.
Amador County District Attorney Todd Riebe confirmed Stephanie Brinson was killed during a couple’s visit. He said he has not received a report from Mule Creek State Prison to make the charges.
