We recently heard that Apple is working on the next generation of rumors. Now, Mark Gurman reports that there may actually be two new models. Based on his previous reports, about potential updates to the 2022 Studio showcase that could be released next year, Gulman wrote this weekend this weekend Power on Sources told him the newsletter that “Apple is making a second new monitor.” The first one is the code J427, while the second one is called J527.
It’s been three years since Apple launched the $1,599 27-inch studio display, twice since its launch. Given the age of both monitors, Gulman said two situations could arise, either “Apple is developing both and will choose one to boot, or a second model with a second screen size or a set of specifications.”
