Google’s new experimental AI model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, is now available
Gemini users who are not paid can now introduce it using Google’s latest model (the experimental version of Gemini 2.5 Pro). The company will use Gemini 2.5 Pro for free (experimental) this weekend, but it will be available to everyone, despite the higher rate limits for non-subscribers. Google, touted it as the “smarst AI model” and then pushed it to Gemini’s advanced users. Now available in Google AI Studio and Gemini apps.
While free users can try it now, Google adds: “Gemini advanced users have extended access and a larger context window.” Gemini 2.5 Pro (Experimental) is the first in Google’s Gemini 2.5 “thinking” model, which is said to provide more accurate results through reasoning. In A, the company explains that this is “the ability to point out its ability to analyze information, draw logical conclusions, combine context and nuances and make informed decisions.”
