Warm fusion brings biotech and body horror to the future of gritty New York

It took me a while to get to any title of relatively new creators Dstlry, a publisher of comics, but I finally jumped this series this week Warm fusion,,,,, and Wow Are we a good start?

Warm fusion Described as a “dark, sci-fi thriller that brings the horror and desolation of David Krohnberg’s body Blade Runner. “It is set in a future version of New York City, where it always rains, and birth defects in the population are common in the crowd due to medical disasters caused by pharmaceutical companies. The story follows detective Jarrod Hannover and accompanying Vin Young (aka Snow White) investigating a series of strange and cruel killings targeting brothel workers. Meanwhile, we are introduced to the immediately suspicious Nicholas Fleischer, a scientist who works in an experimental treatment called warm fusion that seems to stimulate the growth of the previously lack of new limbs.

The series has evolved a lot, from impeccable cyberpunk resonance to scripts that really appeal to you. There are some very intense moments in the first two questions, and the beat of rhythm is the right balance, and it can move forward in building the mystery and introducing us to some aspects of things. Plus, Vin’s whole character is as cool as hell and I love her. Issue 2 was released this week and the next plan will be abandoned in mid-April. Warm fusion Written by writer Scott Hoffman and artist Alberto Ponticell, the colors of Lee Loughridge and lettering by Steve Wands.
