Teenager faces DUI charges after being found asleep on vehicle blockade in New Hampshire
A New Hampshire teenager faces DUI charges after he was found asleep in a vehicle blocking a New Hampshire highway.
According to the New Hampshire State Police Department, soldiers responded to a report that the Blue Ford F350 pickup truck stopped in the middle of the South South Expressway at around 5:19 a.m. Saturday.
Upon arrival, other first responders informed the soldiers that the male appeared to be emanating from behind the pickup wheels, with the drive’s gearbox and door locked. The soldiers continued to perform tire deflation in front of the rear tire pickup and wheel cover.
The soldier knocked on the driver’s side window, glittering, but could not wake the driver. Eventually, the soldier exploded the passenger side window and communicated with the driver.
According to state police, the soldiers asked the driver to put the gearbox in the park, but instead the driver began pulling forward, opening the wheel cover and tire deflation device, stopping before hitting the first responder’s vehicle.
During the on-site investigation, Nicholas Walton, 18, who was determined to be identified as Goffstown, was affected and arrested.
Walton was accused of disobedience to an officer, aggravated the DUI, illegal possession/poisoning, transporting alcohol and opening containers for minors.
He was released with personal approval and will be arraigned in Concord District Court. Anyone who requests information about this incident please contact Trooper Brandon Rivard at [email protected].
