Former LASD jailer has not fought for sex crimes against prisoners

A former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Guardian Assistant Assistant Assistant Assistant has not competed for sexual offences against inmates in Lancaster Prison in 2019.

District Attorney announced the request Friday and said prosecutors would sentence up to eight years to the so-called attack.

“In this case, what happened to the victim is unreasonable and our office will not tolerate this serious abuse of authority,” Dist. Atti. Nathan J. Hochman said in a statement. “Members of law enforcement commit sexual offences against inmates and should be imprisoned. Our prosecutors will vigorously advocate for the maximum sentence in state prisons.”

Daniel Everts, 30, allegedly attacked the assaulted Daniel Everts and filed a federal lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Department and Los Angeles County in 2019. Two years later, the case was settled for $950,000.

The woman said in the lawsuit that she was booked for the impact, was booked at Lancaster Station Prison in June 2019 and claimed she had beaten her after she asked for a blanket.

Everts warned her that she “can go to more detention without complying with the requirements and continue to be detained,” the lawsuit said.

The woman was released the next day and a few days later, Everts was released on $100,000 bail.

Everts is charged with three felony counts of compulsory oral mating, under the threat of detention and sexual activity. He initially pleaded not guilty but made a public defense this month for all charges.

The case was investigated by the Sheriff’s Department. The sentence is decided on July 7.
