MSNBC hosts Trump’s comments on 13-year-old cancer survivors in a “disgusting” political move
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and Nicolle Wallace criticized President Donald Trump for featuring 13-year-old cancer survivor DJ Daniel in a speech at a joint meeting of Congress on Tuesday night.
“For the sake of record, it’s disgusting, and the president is to commend a young man who has survived pediatric cancer so far, as if the president has something to do with it,” McDonald said.

“But I think it’s one thing that makes me feel,” Wallace said. “And I make myself happy with DJ, I wish he was still alive for 95 years, I wish he had the life he wanted to live. He wanted to be a policeman. He knew what he wanted to do, maybe when you have childhood cancer, it would crystallize for you.”
“I want him to be the lifespan of a law enforcement officer,” she said. “But I hope he never has to defend the U.S. Capitol for Donald Trump supporters, and if he does, I hope he is not one of six people, he dies of suicide, I hope he is not a person who has to oppose incitement consensus and then meets those of Donald Trump Paldon.”

Daniel was warmly welcomed by most crowds, although some Democrats sat on camera while Trump was talking about the 13-year-old.
