A two-day strike at Munich Airport resulted in most flights being cancelled

Airport operators said the airlines have canceled about 80% of flights to and from Munich and have not ruled out further cancellations.
The ver.di service workers union called the “warning strike” a strategy often used in German pay negotiations, which on Monday tried to increase pressure on ongoing negotiations with federal government and municipalities for wages and working conditions for public sector employees.
